Jodi Harris

Jodi Harris is a recovered lawyer who focused for 13 years on FDA regulatory and FTC marketing law in Washington, DC and NYC at Greenberg Traurig, Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, and the Colgate-Palmolive Company's global headquarters. She has since followed her passion to the non-profit world. Her initial leap was to Charitybuzz, where she transferred her creativity and client service skills to manage high-end charity auctions for philanthropies with a range of amazing missions.

She is now serving clients directly by supporting their communications and fundraising strategies, focusing on education and arts-focused organizations, including The Music in Me Foundation International. She serves on the Friends Advisory Board of the Brooklyn Children's Museum and is a Development Director at FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). During her career transition, Jodi has invested significant time and heart in her sons' elementary school PTA through its Executive Board and School Leadership Team.

Harris earned her B.A. at Duke University and J.D. and LL.M. at The George Washington University Law School. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, sons (ages 6 and 8) and dog and, in her free time while not chasing this lively crew, relishes yoga, skiing, running, and experimenting in the kitchen. Her superpower is being able to do a few of these things concurrently.
